We are currently looking for strong and capable Barista (part and full time positions available) to work across our two coffee shops in Islington, one at 8 Newington Green Rd and the other nearby at 48 Balls Pond Rd. We need someone who is happy to work in a busy environment, who is organized, able to multitask and who has exceptional customer service skills. We are looking for a minimum of one year experience in the coffee industry.
You will need to be able to show an understanding of espresso shot assessment and grinder adjustment, along with the ability to texture milk consistently. We do also serve food, so some basic food prep will be required as part of the job (training will be provided on this).
You have to be confident working alone but also happy working with other staff members. An added bonus if you live in the area!
Operational hours are from 7:00am till 5pm Monday to Friday, and 8:00am to 5pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. All applicants have to be available to work weekends and minimum of 30hrs per week if full time and 20hrs per week if part time.
